So, since I could not find a similar thread, let's just make one!

My most recent one is where I just got my sweet little D-DC (sales), new paint job. Took it out with a lance premade in tourmaline desert. While advancing towards the enemy I get poptarted IN THE EYEBALL! all armor gone and yellow/orange head. Hats off.

Then after we doing a flank, a enemy dire wolf plonks a arty strike and what do you know, the shell hits me in the eye! I land face first into the ground, baffled by the chances of that happening.

My WTF moment - seeing SSRMs do 360s around a light and never actually hitting, only for the light to run up to me and effectively slap me with my own missiles.

Mechwarriors,

I was in a drop on River City in my Locust, after running around and harassing the enemy with my SSRMs I fell back into my battlegroup. A Banshee walks by me and steps right on my right foot actuator, rips the sucker off and keeps right on rolling. He didn't even notice and now I am a limping duck, floundering in the water. I managed to hobble back to base without getting killed though so I guess things worked out. The techs were pretty upset when they went out to salvage and had to dredge the river for the rest of my mech.

Last night I dropped with a few friends in frozen colony.

We were at ****** ridge (C3) when a cicada pops up and fires a few medium lasers , take a shot or two and runs off and we advance past the ridge then suddenly I get a ping on seismic in the tunnel and moving fast (The cicada) so two of us went to check out whats up and maybe greet the cicada and guess what we see when we turned the corner just behind c3 where that pit is? Two Black Hawks , a Banshee , a Cicada , a Uller and a Madcat that had seemingly powered down , I fired a shot into a black hawk and backed up into cover then went into assist the Madcat that followed me.

While the match was won the both of us bit it however , we managed to take two of them with us each.

That and seeing a Daishi rid a jenner around one match was pretty wtf too.

I've lost count on how many times I've turned the blind corner in That Tunnel to come face-to-face with 4-6 enemy 'Mechs. Does the coolant suit come with brown pants?

That being said, one of my more amusing WTF moments was taking a BoomJager's double AC20s directly to the head. I had to commend the pilot for the lucky shot--after wiping the remains of my own from the shattered cockpit.

"Black hawk" don't mean you the shadowhawk or the blackjack?

Did you check you have motion blur off?

I turned it off while tweaking for optimal performance. The motion blur wasn't the problem.

thos moments where i'm in a light and go scouting. i find a random hill/ledge somewhere and just peek my head over the edge...and promptly have multiple PPC shots exploding on or near me before i can even see what's over there. the odds of someone picking the exact random part of the map i'm going to peek at in the exact spot i peek my head over to be able to snap shot at me instantly? i can see if i go to "official spotting location #3" but i make sure i DON'T go to those locations for that reason.

Oooh I remember back in the old 8-man days, no clans and stuff - when the SRMs were "bugged" (nope.) - I was piloing mi zombie centurion on forest colony on the ledge that's on the tunnel's entrance - one of my legs was without armor but fine - when I saw an enemy downstairs and I fell from the ledge to settle the score with it...
... BOOM - my 2 tons of ammo in the cored leg triggered an explosion from the falling damage, which cored my second leg and triggered a second explosion - both explosions destroying each leg...
If I was able to see my own facial expression in that moment I was probably going to take a selfie to treasure it for my entire life...

My Locust with 4mg and m. laser scores a kill and 326 damage.

The rest of the team scores less than 100 damage. With 0 kills and no assists.

WTF.

Troll cave camp at HPG Manifold.

Im in my Yen Lo Cost (Treb 7K),we were losing 4-0,but the enemy decides to charge one by one at the same entrance.
Needless to say how that turned out.
First time that i oneshotted a running Locust with an AC20.

Had a few of those from time to time.

In one of my first times trying the Atlas with almost stock loadout and 300 STD i had a Jenner chasing me at my back, way faster and i felt totally unable to handle the ******.

Then for some odd reason i tried to do a full stop an turn quickly in an attempt to bear my weapons to fire....

After the initial WTF moment i turned grinning evily knowing now i had a legged Jenner at my mercy.


Also in River city when collisions was still in i walked over a friendly Centurion with my Catapult. due the collision animation being played in 3rd person the image was something akin of a Catapult performing like a Flamingo with a straight and flexed leg over a Centurion head...

Spot a lone enemy assault and move in for a good assault brawl. Alphas go off. Then over the next couple seconds, get plowed for some 300 more damage from the enemies 800m away.

I was on Frozen, in my LRMrion, fighting on the city side. Someone flagged a Locust standing in the center cave exit, and I happened to be lined up well for a shot. LRM45 or LRM50 goes out in a bunch, and... the Locust, which only had yellow damage on its legs, went away. I went WTF?
